Despite the disappoinment of England not qualifying for this years Euro 08 tournament, England fans will be keen to see our English players back on the pitch again for an International Friendly against the Czech Republic.
A friendly against the Czech Republic would not normally fall into the category of a cup final event, even at Wembley, but it is Fabio Capello's philosophy to treat every England game as a major event. Fabio Capello is expecting great things from the English team, especially as it was an all England Champions League Final.
Czech Republic, one of the Euro 2008 Finalists, will play England at Wembley on August 20th 2008. The two countries have only met once before on a football field, England winning a friendly at the old Wembley 2-0 in 1998, lets hope that England can repeat their success at the new Wembley Stadium.
