Newcastle United were founded in 1892, Since their founding of the club the have played at their home ground St. James Park. They are often called the toon army now days by many football fans from all clubs including there own. They have won the First Division Championship four times and the Fa cup six times, though their last league success was in 1927. In European competition the most notable honour the club has won is the Inter cities fairs cup in 1969.
St James Park is a football stadium in Exeter and is the home of Exeter City F.C.
The stadium is served by the St James Park railway station which is right next to the ground (the line runs behind the Grandstand). (It has been adopted by the club who contribute to its upkeep, under the community rail scheme, and its railings have been painted in the red and white of Exeter's strip).
