Stoke City were founded in 1863 as Stoke Ramblers. Stoke are based at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent. Stoke City is the oldest football club in the Premier League. Prior to their 2008 promotion, Stoke had not participated in the top flight since the 1984-85 season when they were relegated with a total of 17 points. Stoke made their entrance to the Premier League that was due to a a goal-less draw with Leicester City. Anfield is an association football stadium in the district of Anfield, in Liverpool, England. The stadium was built in 1884 and was originally the home of Everton F.C.. The club played at the ground until 1892, when they left after a rent dispute. Since then the stadium has been home to Liverpool F.C., who were formed as a result of Everton leaving Anfield. It is a Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) 4-star rated stadium and has hosted many international matches at the senior level, including England matches. The ground was also used as a venue during Euro 96. Earlier in its history the stadium was also used as a venue for different events, such as boxing and tennis matches.
